Since 1972 the Leduc Track Club has welcomed hundreds of athletes to our club, developing a proud and distinguished group of alumni. After their years with the Leduc Track Club, many of our Alumni move on to compete for various post-secondary schools, and sometimes even the country.

We'd like to build a community of Alumni to keep up to date with information on the club, or any upcoming events. We'd also like to take the opportunity to recognize our alumni with brief bio's with information on their Track and Field history.

Darryl Cyre

Darryl has a lots of great memories and friendships because of the Leduc Track Club. His days as an athlete are now long gone, but because of what he enjoys he now spends time with his daughters to experiencing the fun and friendship that sports can bring into life.

After leaving the Leduc Track Club in High School, Katie rejoined the club as a coach in 2015. Since then Katie has been coaching and managing the Leduc Track Club and can always be found at the Track on Monday's and Wednesday's.

Events: Hurdles, Long Jump, Triple Jump

Cheyenne is currently studying Software Engineering with a minor in Mechatronics at the University of Calgary. One of the highlights of her time with the Leduc Track Club was going to Legion Nationals in Langley, BC. After her time with Leduc Track, Cheyenne switched sports focusing on Short Track Speed Skating. Cheyenne became the first athlete to represent her home country of Singapore in a Winter Olympics, competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in 2018.

Tatyjania is currently in her last year at UBCO and is planning on applying to the Education program to become a teacher. The highlights of her Athletics Career include the opportunities track and field provided her to travel across Canada and the US, including Quebec, Idaho and California. Also, walking into the Simplot Games stadium for the first time is an experience she'll never forget.

Ashley McKay
Year of Birth: 1987

Graduated High School with a Athletics Scholarship to University of Utah. Now back in the City of Edmonton and married to fellow Leduc Track Alumni Travis McKay. Ashley and Travis have two daughters.

Competed with Club from 2007 - 2012
Events: 800m
​
Attended the University of Victoria after Graduating and competed with their Track and Field Team. Tyler is now studying physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. While with Leduc Track, Tyler set a provincial record in the 800m. He still holds the all time club record in the 800m with a time of 1:47.71.

Brad is now a teacher at Thorsby Elementary. During his times with the Leduc Track Club, he has many wonderful memories competing at track meets all over Western Canada and Washington. He also remembers one unfortunate accident with a javelin during practice at the High School field. He fondly remember his coaches Mr. Conroy and Mr. Bole.
